Greetings! My name is Betsy Webbert, and I have been fortunate to be a part of the Saugatuck Public School (Douglas Elementary) family for the past 25 years.
I love teaching and I love teaching kindergarten. How lucky am I to have the opportunity to do something I love. It feels amazing to be going into my 26th year, and I am looking forward to meeting this years class of fabulous kids!
I have 3 fantastic children, and we added Adam a couple of years ago when he and Sam married, so that makes four. We will be adding a new little bundle of joy in September, as Sam and Adam are expecting a baby girl. Needless to say we are very excited!
They are still living in New Zealand (yes it is as beautiful as everyone says). Our family is blessed to have great friends, plus we are fortunate to have a spunky, loveable little dog named Lucy who makes us smile.
Wes finished the basketball season strong and graduated this spring from Davenport University majoring in Marketing and Business. So new adventures are on the horizon.
Audra is living life to the fullest.. I see some traveling in the future for her. It’s a big world out there, and she is an explorer.
My degree in Education is from Adrian College. I also have a Masters Degree from Grand Valley University in Educational Leadership.
Thanks to all of the children and parents over the past 25+ years for a lot of fun and laughter! It has been an awesome journey thus far.
Looking forward to meeting and getting to know all of you.
